The 7minute workout is a very popular app. Spend just seven minutes doing as many jumping jacks, push ups, and crunches you can. It focuses on high intensity since the duration is so low. The app has audio cues to tell you when to start and stop. Check out this app and the workouts it has to offer
There is also the Nike Training Club app. This app gives training guidance for your quick workouts. It also will work with Nike Plus. It is full with more than 100 quick workouts that you can do anywhere, and they come with videos that help you with form.
These are two apps you can definitely check out. Apps are great for people that might need a little motivation to get up and start moving or a fitness guru.
App Idea:
A fitness app idea that I would love to see is a movement app. An app that is able to work with sensors put on the body to mimic certain form. For an example shooting a basketball. If you could mimic “the perfect shot” the app would record your movement and show you what you could fix. If your elbow was out it would catch that and suggest that you keep your elbow in.
